Invidia
Invidia is Latin for Envy
Invi as he is known is a Canadian Eskimo Dog born in Feb 2013, my first non malamute Sleddog he is a real goodie clown when in the mood but can also be very reserved and dignified when he chooses. Invi along with my malamute Fury were the originators of the name Infury and together with me won the first ever British Championship in 2013. Since then Invi has stepped up to International level competition and has Bronze and Gold Medals on his CV at World Championship Level. He is entering the twilight of his racing career as the younger dogs can be too fast for him to keep up with at times non the less he still loves to get out working in harness and will continue to have the opportunity to do what he loves best as long as he wants to do it.
Ira
Ira is Latin for Wrath
Ira was born in May 2015 and is Invi’s half sister, they share a father who was imported from Baffin Island. Invi and Ira’s grandfather has been to the North Pole more than any dog in history, he was also in the team of dogs which pulled Richard Hammond to the North Pole in Top Gear. Ira herself has a World Championship Silver medal and Gold Medal to her name. In late 2019 while running and playing she collided with another dog which caused an ANNPE injury. Initially she was paralysed from the waste down, however some movement quickly returned. After 18 months of physio and hydro therapy along with acupuncture she is a happy sprightly dog running round and playing. However its unlikely she will ever be able to race again at a top level.
Lux
Lux is short for Luxuria another deadly sin
Lux is a Greenland Dog and was born in Aug 2018 a relative baby his impact on the team along with his sister Ava was unbelievable, his raw strength and energy upped the teams level several fold. Having only completed one season prior to Covid restrictions Lux managed to lead the team to Gold in the Dryland World Championships in 2019 and take gold on Snow in Zuberec Slovakia in 2020 beating two world champions along the way. A phenomenal achievement for a yearling dog. The winter 2021/2 season promises to be truly exciting as Lux enters his prime performance years.
Ava
Ava is short for Avarice another deadly sin
Litter sister to Lux she has matched him stride for stride all the way round the trail and probably out performed him in the brain department. As well as her phenomenal working prowess in Feb 2021 Ava had a litter of purebred Greenland Dog puppies, this was the first time Matt has ever bred dogs and he would have been lost without the fact Ava was such an amazing natural mother. 6 puppies were born and all were healthy. 4 have gone to good quality working homes and 2 have remained with momma to start increasing the team and adding the next generation.
Nimis
Nimis is a form of Gluttony and a deadly sin
Nimis a Greenland Dog and is a true Ava daughter, showing all the sweetness of her mum, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up to her mum. If she has half her mums working prowess she will grow up to be a great dog, but for now she can relax and enjoy her puppyhood.
Pride
Pride is another of the deadly sins
Is a Greenland Dog and Ava’s son and brother to Nimis, he is a sweet boy and if he takes after his father Dexter he will be another fantastic worker. He has a very similar look to his uncle Lux. There was a whole array of colours in the litter. There are plenty of pics in the gallery
